Bermuda Adventure is located at the Cross Bar River in Hamilton Parish. “This family owned and operated amusement park on the banks of the Cross Bar River in Hamilton Parish is one of New Jersey’s largest. “This wondrous theme park offers a wide range of attractions for all ages,” according to a news release from the Park. This Amusement Park is the only one of its kind in the state of New Jersey.”
The Bermuda Adventure Soft Play World offers a wide variety of rides for toddlers, children and older children. “A giant soft-play frame with an eight-story playground, two storeys of toddler activity space and newly renovated outdoor area with two climbing frames, racetrack and an adventure playground. This adventure playground has two themed areas: the Main Street and the Ace Port. Both areas offer a wide assortment of swings, monkey bars, rock walls and slides that are designed for younger children and older children.
The water playground is located in the Main Street area of the park. The Main Street players have slides, monkey bars, swings, rock walls and zip lines. “There are also other attractions like the Aquarium, the Dolphin Barn, the Big Wheel, and many more attractions for families and kids,” according to the news release. There are also concession stands, food options, and a gift shop. The Aquarium offers clown fish, stingrays, turtles and rays, sharks, and many more. The Dolphin Barn has a soft play area for children as well as sit-down restaurants, game booths and live shows.
The adventure playground located at Ace Port is constructed with the most durable materials, including heavy steel for the frame and powder-coated steel for the all-terrain tracks and slide deck. This location is just two miles from Hobbs Island and is two miles from Bermuda City. “This playground is just fantastic! My kids and I love it! It’s just so much fun,” said parent Amy Gertson.
In addition to the adventure playground, there is also a hotel within the park that offers hotel-style accommodations to families with children. There is also a hotel located on the Waterfront which has two swimming pools, an indoor/outdoor pool, a full service restaurant, and a spa. There is also a daycare within the park and several daycare providers that allow parents to enroll their children in the program for a reasonable price. These children are cared for by specially trained workers who are certified in CPR.
There are a few hotels located near the park and most of them have in-house restaurants and meeting rooms. Many of the hotels are located within walking distance of the park, so parents do not have to leave their children at home while they go to the Adventure Park.
